Phase 2 of the AI in Healthcare Programme is set to conclude in April 2025, marking a significant milestone in advancing AI-driven healthcare solutions.

Over the past six months (October 2024 – April 2025), 11 AI-focused healthcare startups from across the island of Ireland have participated in this transformative programme, delivered in partnership with the Connected Health & Wellbeing Cluster, The Data Innovation Hub,  dConnect, and supported by InterTradeIreland’s ‘Synergy’ Funding.

Designed to equip participants with specialised AI skills and strategic insights, the programme provided tailored sessions, hands-on mentoring, and collaborative learning opportunities. Through a structured approach, founders refined their concepts, assessed feasibility, and developed prototypes aimed at revolutionising healthcare.

Workshops and expert-led sessions ensured alignment with industry needs, fostering collaboration, innovation, and market readiness. As the programme draws to a close, these startups are now positioned to introduce cutting-edge AI solutions that have the potential to transform patient care.

Hear From Our Participants

“In a world where AI and information overload can be overwhelming, the team at DKIT stands out as a trusted and safe space. They invest individualized time and effort into understanding your vision, fostering a deep understanding that is invaluable in today’s fast-paced environment. Building on the momentum we’ve established, transitioning to a new stream or track would not only disrupt our accelerated progress but also risk losing the energy and relationships we’ve cultivated. By supporting DKIT through Phase 3, we can ensure the seamless development of products from wireframe to reality, leveraging the trust and expertise that has been built.”     Maria
